BUILDER MEMBERSHIP:
available to any company that has for a period of one or more years engaged
in the business of building, rebuilding or remodeling homes, apartments,
schools, commercial, industrial or other structures normally appurtenant to a
community; and who subscribes to the NIHBA Code of Ethics and is of good
character and business reputation.
Base dues for Builder Members is $600 per year, which includes the total
membership dues for the National Association of Home Builders, Home Builders
Association of Illinois and the Northern Illinois Home Builders Association.
Builder members must also agree to pay to the Attainable Housing Alliance the
government affairs and lobbying organization of home builder associations in the
Chicagoland area annual dues of $50 per home closed. Companies which also
hold membership in more than one HBA pay the Attainable Housing Alliance only
once through one of the home builder associations Northern Greater Fox Valley or
Greater Chicago.)
Summary of membership costs are:
Dues: $600
Voluntary PAC Contributions: NIHBA $25 and/or HBAI $200

application. You may pay on-line or mail a check to NIHBA, 3695
Darlene Court, Suite 102, Aurora, IL 60504. If you are writing a
check, you may send a single check to NIHBA including all above costs or you may
send a check to NIHBA for dues and voluntary pac contributions and a
second check directory to AHA at 1919 S. Highland, Suite 225, Lombard, IL 60148.
I understand that my full association dues include membership in the
Home Builders Association of Illinois, the National Association of Home Builders
and the Attainable Housing Alliance. I hereby attest that I will abide by
the bylaws of the Association and subscribe to its Code of Ethics.
Dues payments to NIHBA are NOT deductible as charitable contributions for
federal tax purposes. However, dues may be deducted by members as ordinary
and necessary business expenses.

ASSOCIATE
MEMBERSHIP: Available to any person, firm or
corporation engaged in a trade, industry or profession related to home
building and not inconsistent with the objectives of NIHBA and who
subscribes to the NIHBA Code of Ethics and is of good character and business
reputation. Total annual dues for Associate membership in the National
Association of Home Builders, Home Builders Association of Illinois and
Northern Illinois Home Builders Association is $600 per year.
I agree to abide by the Bylaws of Northern Illinois Home Builders
Association and its Code of Ethics. I also understand that my full
association dues include membership in NIHBA, the Home Builders Association
of Illinois and the National Association of Home builders. IN the
event my memberships is terminated, I agree to the immediate discontinuance
of the use of any association insignia in connection with my business.
Dues payments to NIHBA are NOT deductible as charitable contributions for
federal tax purposes. However, dues may be deducted by members as
ordinary and necessary business expenses.
